Sabre Systems Awarded $499M Systems Engineering Contract
Sabre Systems, LLC, was selected for a $499M contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department (SED). The single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract has a 60-month (5-year) period of performance from April 18, 2025 through April 17, 2030, with task orders issued on a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee basis.
Under this contract, Sabre will provide systems engineering and technical support services for naval aircraft warfare systems, including analysis, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction for the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales clients. Sabre will support weapons systems managed by Integrated Product Teams under Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), assisting Program Executive Offices and Program Management Air offices (PMA) with research, development, and technical evaluations. Systems engineering management and technical functions to be performed under this contract include model based systems engineering, air platform systems engineering, combat survivability, metrology, E3 engineering, system product integrity, and lifecycle acquisition risk assessment for mission-critical platforms and technologies.
