Sabre offers two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) medical plans and a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA) that is administered by UnitedHealthcare. To benefit from the PPO’s advantages, it is recommended to stay within the approved network of physicians and hospitals. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately. Health insurance includes prescription coverage for the employee and their dependents.
Client Advocate Center
Sabre offers Client Advocate Center to all eligible employees. This comprehensive program will assist with clinical and administrative issues and help employees get answers involving their medical, hospital, dental, mental health and other healthcare issues. Client Advocate Center will also help employees: (1) in finding doctors, specialists and hospitals (2) untangling medical bills and (3) locating eldercare and support services.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Sabre employees who are enrolled in the Standard Life and AD&D Life Plans, and Short- and Long-Term Disability plan are eligible to receive the benefits of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is a confidential, round-the-clock service that helps employees and their families balance the demands of work, life and personal issues. EAP offers counseling, information and referral services for issues such as mental health concerns, family life, managing stress, etc.
Sabre offers a life insurance policy through The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately.
Sabre offers dental coverage from Guardian Life Insurance Company of America to all employees. In-network PPO coverage is as follows: 100% Preventative, 90% Basic and 60% Major. Out-of-network is as follows: 100% Preventative, 80% Basic and 50% Major. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee and their dependents become eligible immediately.
Sabre provides short-term disability insurance to all Full-Time Regular/Part-Time Regular employees through The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York. Short-term disability benefits begin on the first day after injury and the eighth day after illness for 13 weeks. Maternity benefits are covered. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately.
Long-term disability benefits begin after the short-term disability period ends. There is no military or government offset for long-term disability payments.
Flexible Spending Account
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows the employee to have a portion of their income set aside on a pre-tax basis for the payment of unreimbursed medical, dental, and vision expenses. Other qualifying expenses including prescription drug expenses, over-the-counter medication expenses, parking and transit expenses, and dependent/child care expenses. Employees must consistently work 30 or more hours per week to participate in the medical FSA. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately.
Health Savings Account
Sabre offers two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) medical plans and a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA) that is administered by UnitedHealthcare.
Employees working 30+ hours are eligible to join the vision plan. Sabre’s vision plan is a PPO. Employees receive the best cost for services by staying within the Davis Network.
Sabre provides prescription coverage as part of your medical coverage. This coverage includes generic and brand prescriptions.
Full-Time Regular employees who have less than five years of service accumulate 80 hours of annual leave, based on the calendar year. Employees with five or more years of service accumulate 120 hours of annual leave, based on the calendar year. Annual Leave is pro-rated for Full-Time Regular/Part-Time Regular employees working between 20-30 hours. Employees with ten or more years of service gain an additional one day per year to a maximum of four weeks after 15 years of service. Eligibility begins on the first day of employment.

All employees receive 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 regular hours worked not to exceed 40 hours of sick leave for the year. All employees begin accruing sick leave on their first day of employment. Employees are permitted to maintain a sick leave balance up to 80 hours.
Sabre provides up to three working days of leave with pay to make arrangements for, and to attend, funeral services.
Sabre maintains the employee’s salary while they serve on jury duty, up to three days. Sabre also offers reserve military duty up to 120 hours. Any employee serving in the Reserves or National Guard who is “called up” to serve for a period of 180 consecutive days or greater can receive a maximum of up to 160 hours of additional military leave. Eligibility begins on the first day of employment.
New employees are eligible to join immediately and invest up to the annual IRS contribution limits. Temporary employees are eligible to join the plan after six months of service. These contributions are deducted from your salary on a pre-tax basis.
529 Saving Plan
Sabre offers a 529 college savings plan option as part of our benefits package. Earnings in a 529 account grow free from federal tax. State deductions vary by state. A 529 account can be opened for anyone including the employee. The plan can be transferred from one beneficiary to another or rolled into other 529 accounts for the same beneficiary.

Employee Development / Education & Training
Sabre offers its employees the opportunity to obtain professional training. Training must be job-related and/or beneficial to the Company.
Sabre offers computer-based training through ADP’s Learning Management System at no cost to the employee. All employees are eligible to us the LMS at their leisure with no course restrictions. Training is available 24/7 on most devices.
We encourage our employees’ hunger for knowledge and provide resources to help them pursue it. Sabre offers assistance to help employees stay current with professional certifications. Sabre is dedicated to offering our employees the tools they need to reach new heights in their area of expertise.
Sabre provides financial assistance to those who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Sabre will reimburse for tuition, fees and books. Reimbursement is dependent upon a passing grade of “C” or better for undergraduate degrees and a “B” or better for graduate degrees.
Student Loan Advisor
Vault Advisor is a student loan advisor that provides employees with a secure experience to get information to help achieve financial relief from student loan debt.

Sabre employees can have their paychecks direct deposited. Pay can be split between two separate accounts. Expense reimbursements can also be directly deposited into the employee’s account(s).
Sabre knows that great employees know great people. That’s why Sabre offers a generous referral bonus to employees who refer individuals for full-time employment at Sabre. Some exceptions exist.
Identity (ID) Theft
All employees can enroll in ID Theft Protection for $6.50/month. This includes restoration of credit or financial reputation for themselves, spouses, and their children under 26 years of age.
Cell Phone Discounts
Sabre offers employees an 11% discount on their monthly bills with Verizon Wireless. An additional 3% can be included if paperless billing is selected. For AT&T Wireless customers, a 9% discount is offered off the monthly service charge on qualified wireless plans.
