Systems Engineering Department

Serving as prime contractor for $400M NAWCAD Systems Engineering Department Contract. Sabre provides systems engineering and technical support services for naval aircraft warfare systems, including analysis, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction for the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales clients. Sabre supports weapons systems managed by Integrated Product Teams under Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), assisting Program Executive Offices and Program Management Air offices (PMA) with research, development, and technical evaluations.

Mission Systems and Sensor Software Engineering/Development

Served as prime for the $200M Software Engineering and Acquisition Management contract (SEAM) providing Mission Systems and Sensor Software Engineering/Development for multiple Software Support Activities (SSAs) and platforms across NAVAIR.

Systems Engineering Development and Implementation

Key architect in creating and operating NAVAIR’s Systems Engineering Development and Implementation Center (SEDIC). An element of the SEDIC’s mission is to develop and fully implement MBSE across NAVAIR via an Integrated Systems Engineering Environment (ISEE) and supporting Systems Engineering Transformation (SET) goals by implementing SysML modeling using the Cameo suite with custom built applications to augment and facilitate connections between tools. Work included Sabre playing a lead role in developing, improving and automating the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) checklist process and developing the risk, issue and opportunity management tool (RIO), which are used in most Naval Aviation major defense acquisition programs.

Technical, Documentation and Programmatic Support

Currently provide technical and programmatic support to Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1, 2 and 6 as well as Strategic Programs (SP) regarding the development of Program Protection Planning (PPP) documentation.

Weapons Control and Integration

Provide engineering and technical support to NSWCDD H40 Weapons Control and Integration Department, including integration activities of both Electrical and Mechanical gun systems onto AF SOC AC-130 gunship platforms, Advanced High Energy Laser prototyping, and test support and BMS SIL maintenance/support.
