Current Role

Dennis DePriest serves as Senior Vice President of Mission Support Software and leads the Systems and Software Engineering Division. He is responsible for overseeing management and growth for Navy programs, focusing on operational excellence and delivering innovative software and system engineering solutions to NAVAIR. His leadership emphasizes advancing technology, supporting mission-critical operations, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Education

Dennis DePriest graduated summa cum laude from American InterContinental University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, concentrating in Management. He possesses extensive experience in NAVAIR flight operations, systems development, program management, and testing, with over 3,500 flight hours as a P-3 Acoustic Operator. His background combines operational expertise and technical knowledge, which has been instrumental in shaping his career in systems engineering and program development.

Career Experience

Mr. DePriest brings over 35 years of leadership in NAVAIR programs, supporting all phases of program acquisition and engineering. He is well versed in the System Engineering Technical Review process and NAVAIR appropriations, including funding cycles and types. Beginning his career in the US Navy, he gained firsthand experience in flight operations and systems development. Since transitioning to civilian roles, he has contributed to every aspect of NAVAIR systems, from conceptual development through design, implementation, testing, and delivery to the Fleet, playing a key role in advancing program performance and innovation.
