What is Six Sigma?

A Process. Six Sigma is a customer-focused, business process used to increase customer satisfaction, minimize inefficiency and reduce costs across every business area including management, design, production, and service delivery.

A Philosophy. Six Sigma is a critical, highly disciplined, data driven philosophy that provides varying methodologies to reduce variation in business and operational processes; ultimately reducing costs while improving efficiencies and meeting the quality requirements of both internal and external customers.

Sabre’s Six Sigma Strategy

Sabre recognizes the need for employees trained in Six Sigma Initiatives. Sabre offers Six Sigma Black Belt Practitioners that work with your organization to ensure processes, leadership and missions are aligned with Six Sigma strategies.
  • Lean - Improve Productivity and Return on Investment (ROI) through the identification and elimination of waste.
  • Theory of Constraints (TOC) – Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, while formulating a prioritized sequence of improvements related to quality, cost, schedule and resources.
  • Six Sigma – Develop hypothesis of improvement needed to reduce variation in business operational processes, test hypothesis and predictions using statistical tools until variation is within six sigma, and ensure accurate project management and control.

The success factors of Six Sigma implementation include reduced waste, improved processes, reduced cycle time and increased returns on investment.
