Program Management Support - Sabre’s team of BRAC professionals have had leadership roles in four BRAC rounds and are able to assist both DOD and private sector executives in managing BRAC 2005 implementation. HR solutions give full consideration to the constraints of the various personnel systems while seeking innovation and harnessing personal talents and skills. The HR specialists are well versed in classification, compensation, recruitment and placement, employee benefits as well as employee and labor relations. Our HR professionals have managed major reorganizations and realignments and successfully maintained the difficult balance between management’s needs and the employee’s best interests.
Facility Planning - Sabre staff professionals, typically engineers or architects, specialize in determining the characteristics of buildings, structures and land required to satisfy the operational and functional requirements of the military mission. Facilities planners conduct an objective analysis of land usage, site selection, buildings, structures and other special requirements to accomplish the assigned mission. Consideration is given to the condition of existing facilities and the potential for renovation or expansion. Facility planners also develop, or ensures conformance with, master planning documents. Facility planners estimate construction costs, site development costs, utility costs and collateral equipment costs. Our facility planners utilize DOD facility planning criteria, industry standards and sound engineering judgment as a basis for recommendations. Life cycle operations and maintenance costs are always considered in facility solutions.
Project Planning - Sabre engineers or architects transform requirements defined by facility planners into mature project documents that form the basis for construction and renovation projects. The project documentation developed by these professionals serves as the basis for budgets and financial programming as well as the starting point for detailed design documents. The track record developed by these professionals yields confidence that project scopes and cost estimates will realized as actual facilities are constructed.
Security - Sabre professionals experienced in maintaining the physical and operational security of a military installation. Security specialists typically have military police, provost marshal or security officer experience and are conversant in development of Antiterrorism/Force Protection Plans. Our security specialists are knowledgeable of OPSEC and Personnel Security requirements. In conjunction with our facility planners, security specialists are able to recommend the most cost effective method of adequately meeting or exceeding all physical security and force protection requirements. Working closely with our human resources specialists, security specialists develop staffing recommendations which ensure that security requirements are satisfied.
